3M™ Electrically Conductive Adhesive Transfer Tape 9703 is a low-outgassing Z-axis anisotropic electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (CPSA) tape. This double-sided tape is filled with silver conductive particles for interconnection of electronic substrates. Designed for EMI shielding and grounding applications, enabling devices to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
3M™ Electrically Conductive Adhesive Transfer Tape 9703 has very high electrical conductivity, which provides low resistance for small contact areas and high frequencies. The anisotropic conductivity enables Z-axis interconnects without shorting adjacent circuitry. This tape provides robust protection against EMI in a range of market segments such as consumer electronics, automotive, medical devices, communication infrastructure, and especially aerospace & defense electronics, with requirements for low outgassing.
Recommended Applications:
Electrical connectivity to medium pitch flexible circuits and PCBs
Flex circuit to flex circuit interconnection
PCB/flex/chassis grounding
EMI shield & gasket attachment
Electrostatic discharge (ESD)
From simple to complex designs, our family of shielding and grounding solutions provides protection against EMI. Our solutions provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates including metals and plastics. These tapes are easy to apply using low pressure without heat, enhancing productivity. We have multiple thicknesses available to meet even the most space constrained and complex design requirements.
