3M™ CUNO™ Metal Screen Filter Cartridges deliver effective, consistent filtration of fluids where either high viscosity, high temperature or corrosive properties necessitate a stainless steel construction.

Standard range
Our cartridges are manufactured from 316 stainless steel and fitted with a screen and a perforated internal support cylinder. A variety of end-cap fittings are available to provide compatibility with a wide range of application needs. For ease of maintenance they can be cleaned using a variety of methods, including back flushing, chemical cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning. Standard cartridges have a plain, unpleated media.

Grades
They’re available in a range of 14 filtration grades that cover from 3 microns absolute up to 1,000 microns nominal. These are available in Double Open Ended (DOE) and heights 1 and 2, configuration with Nitrile of PTFE Flat Gasket equipped end caps, also in heights 1 and 2.

Range extensions
The standard range is readily extendable to include further options such as heights 3 and 4, and Single Open Ended configurations (with Type 222 or 226 end caps) and a variety of replaceable gasket materials. A threaded NPT option is also available.

Special builds
3M SPSD Hardware team has extensive experience designing and supplying special metal screen cartridges. These can include pleated media for greater surface area and a perforated, protective outer sheet.
